A glimpse inside the world's most powerful blockchain conferences and their communities on the Verse.

On a hot sunny day in July, artists, builders, and everyone in between gathered at the Barcelona Convention Center. The branding exuded calming and inspiring vibes that explored all my five senses. This was the start of a heatwave and the beginning of some lasting relationships in the space.

It's not a bear market, it's a build market.

Upon my arrival, I had breakfast at a cafe right along the beach. I met up with DAO governance contributor [person name] and attended an event hosted by Encode at a local gallery space. The panelists were very bearish on Bitcoin and heavy on NFTs to shape the world.

The next day the conference began and I had to mint my ticket on DoingGud NFT protocol as my ticket was a gorgeous lavender colored NFT jpeg of sorts. However, we were required to still wear an unavoidable conference wristband. Literally, can we not anymore? Once through this check-in, my mood changed! There was a forest decorated DJ booth set up to greet guests, a huge coffee station with ornate espresso machines—and binaural beat music filled the hallways to leading to panels and workshops. I sat in on a smart contract auditing workshop led by Hacken.io. By the time a session led by Infura started, the entire room was filled with builders, even ones sitting on the floor. It's not a bear market, it's a build market.
