Every single guest received a commemorative NFT, plus Julia Fox and Normani were in attendance!
Diesel shut down the Milan streets and gave out NFTs.
DIESEL, the company that brought you the world's most innovative denim and now apparel, has released its Spring/Summer 2023 Collection in Milan this past week. Over 5,000 attendees will receive NFTs as a commemorative digital collectible! Moreover, also attending were NFT collectors, who received a free ticket with the purchase of their AW22 runway pieces.
The collection is anchored in experimentation and subversion. Highlights include elegantly distressed denim devoré tops and corsets, denim roughly embroidered with torn tulle—pieces trimmed with raw denim, and distressed denim is held by stitching lines to bring control to the destruction. Scans of distressed denim are featured on second-skin trompe-l'oeil prints. Bonded leather jackets are cut with raw edges, and acid floral slip dresses are trimmed with lace, as are tank minidresses with frills at the neck and arm.
The digital fashion collection closely resembled the physical version. NFT holder were even granted ticket access. A $VV collector also was granted a ticket, but she couldn't get in! Apparently the door was insane, as per usual. Anyways, there are 3-digital collectibles on Opensea "Buy Now" going for .9 ETH. https://opensea.io/collection/dieselnfts
All models were very diverse and exotic looking, which was exciting! The clothes reminded me of a grungy Lower East Side, NY vibe. My favorite Deisel jeans were black, and I wore them for years until I grew out of them (and they were given to Goodwill). This collection is sure to make an impact on fashion trends for years to come! Plus, Julia Fox, Normani and Skepta were in attendance!
